What size do I need?
Sizing your air conditioning the right way
Cooling is measured in tons. That rule of thumb is just a starting point — humidity, sun exposure, and your home's layout all change it, and right-sizing matters even more for cooling than heating.

A rough guide is one ton per 500–600 square feet
A rule of thumb gets you in the ballpark — but an oversized system short-cycles: it blasts on, shuts off, and wastes energy while heating or cooling unevenly. The right size comes from a proper load calculation, not a square-footage formula.

Can you fix my AC the same day?
Most repairs are handled same-day. We stock common parts on our trucks so we can finish in one visit when possible.
Is it worth repairing an older AC?
If it uses R-22 refrigerant or is over 12–15 years old, replacement often makes more sense. We'll show you the numbers both ways.
How do I know what size AC I need?
We size based on your home, not a rule of thumb — an oversized unit short-cycles and an undersized one runs constantly.
Do you clean coils and service existing units?
Yes. Condenser and evaporator coil cleaning is part of a proper tune-up and keeps efficiency up.
